I received this book through Bookish First to write a review. I wasn’t able to entirely finish the book, but from what I did read I think that it’s a great book for anyone that is trying to fully feel the joy of this spooky season.
The cover is absolutely and amazingly spooky and slightly terrifying- it draws you in. The shadow of the person walking being a monster type is something that is just so intriguing and wild, and the color red all around really adds to the whole nefarious and tantalizing vibe that the cover has going on.
I myself am not a huge fan of super scary things- I get freaked out so easily. So everything that I say should be taken with a grain of salt for the true horror aficionado's out there. I’m a chicken. So the beginning of this book actually scared me and creeped me out- which leads me to believe the rest of the book will be equally scary. Basically, if you’re a fan of even slight horror, this is for you. But if not, it’s not.
