I usually really enjoy young adult thrillers and horror, but sometimes they come across as TOO YA, and that is what happened here. I just didn't vibe with the characters or the writing. This also seemed like a pretty standard storyline that is seen often, so I'm not sure how unique or twisty or surprising this could get.
