The introduction really made me feel weird. Something about the immediate mix of alcohol and cigarettes just turned me off. Not feeling it. It might be trying to set the story in a certain period in time, but it just made me feel uncomfortable. The cover is suitably creepy. I wouldn't read more to see how this one unfolds. The first few pages gave me a bad vibe, and I'm going to steer clear from the rest of the book.
