The red cover got my attention, and the shadow is interesting. It's probably just me, but the specifics of the woman in the corner took away from the creepy vibe, rather than adding to it. The writing seems good, but this type of YA just isn't for me. I don't do well with YA angst, which this one seems to be full of.
