Honestly, horror is not my first "go to" genre. However, the "Bookishfirst" synopsis was intriguing enough, that I decided to read the "Sneak Peek" of "The Changing Man" by Tomi Oyemakinde. I was more than pleasantly surprised! Mr. Oyemakinde did an amazing job of setting up the plot and characters of this, thus far, well written YA novel. Who cannot relate to Ife, the new Urban Achiever (UA) student, that joined Nithercott years after her fellow students? Am I the only one looking forward to having the mystery of Leon's disappearance solved? Can't wait to read this novel in its entirety!
