My first impression of this book is that it is not your "typical" "So you want to be a writer" how-to book. On the contrary, this book that reveals the hard work required to not only just write your book, but the grueling steps necessary to getting your book published. The author shares her own insecurities and passion for writing, which helps aspiring writers to realize that their feelings are not necessarily unique (or wrong).
