If I was looking to publish a non-fiction essays on the troubles of my life and how I deal with them or have overcome, this would probably to a tremendous asset to me. Even in the first chapter the author goes into basics of an essay about yourself and then proceeds to share many, many examples - most of which tend to sound like tripe bite to me, even though someone talking about how perfect they are is definitely worse.
