Just the initial sample of The Byline Bible has already lit a fire under me to rethink and refocus my goal of writing for publication and money. Susan Shapiro knows her craft and makes the process very specific. While the cover is generic and somewhat like other writing guides I read in college, this is the first such guide to put me in an immediate, intense and personal space. I'm ready to go list some project ideas already. I need to own this book, no doubt about that, and I will recommend it to anyone who ever wanted to see their words in print.
