I was really excited to read this book. It sounded so original and so different. I loved the storyline!
But as I started reading it, I became more and more disinterested and couldn't keep my attention to the book. Which upset me because I wanted to love this!
I'm not even completely sure what lost me? I wasn't connecting with any of the characters, I couldn't connect with the story, etc. I guess a lot of things fell flat for me.
I ended up DNFing this about halfway in. I just couldn't force myself to continue it any longer. I may try to revisit this book at a much later date to see if I can enjoy it at a different time but for now.. this book was a complete fail for me and its upsetting that I didn't completely love it.
