Teodora has the power that I never knew I wanted or needed. I have read thousands of stories about magic and the dark arts, as well as the mafia being involved, but this story is so unlike the others. Teodora honestly believes she is alone or that she isn't like the other "normal people" until she meets Cielo. Cielo is a character that we need in times like these. Someone who is strong and has the ability to be more than one gender, while maintaining himself. This book is told in the first person which almost turns the reader into Teodora. I feel the emotions she has and when she talks about believing in her father and what he does, I'm sitting here like " oh is that my father". This story is something that I and I believe many others have not seen before. I am ready for the wild ride.
