After reading the sampler, I am dying to continue. The magic system seems interesting, our leading lady is fierce, and the family is brutal.
Teo seems like she's going to be an excellent main character. She cares so much for her family, even the abusive, probably psychopathic brother. I'm loving the strong parental figures, even a not evil stepmother!!
The other strega is such an intriguing character. I want to know more about who this person is.
The plot so far is engaging and captivating. I only read 70 pages or so, but I felt completely engaged right away and I was sucked right in.
I cannot wait to continue when this book comes out, I will definitely be picking this one up as soon as I can.
