Oh my goodness, Godfather-vibes plus magic!?! This book sounds like it has the potential to be amazing! Plus, what sounds like a genderfluid character? Sign me up. I love the aesthetic that this book is conveying with the First Impression and it definitely sounds like something I would enjoy reading. Just from reading the excerpt alone there are already several beautiful quotes to pull from this author's words! I don't think I've read a fantasy quite along these same lines before, which makes me think the premise for this book is really genuine and unique!
