I definitely did not expect to enjoy this as much as I did, but I totally got sucked into this story! I mean--a bi protagonist and a genderfluid mystery person is enough to hook me in, but also mafia-esque families and magic and little brothers? You've got me completely ensnared!
I think the protagonist is smart and someone I could really enjoy reading--and I definitely think she has a long way to go in learning how to use her magic! (Changing people back--hmmm). I absolutely cannot believe that the sampler left off there because I WANT MORE. Ahhhhh.
