I adored this excerpt. From the first scene on the mountain, I was entranced by Teo's voice, her perspective on the world. The first chapters do an elegant job of introducing the characters, before completely flipping Teo's world on its head. So much has already happened, but the book doesn't feel rushed - and I'm so eager to read more immediately!
