Utterly Beautiful // I'm dead chuffed to have used my first points claim on this book
This book has me so freaking excited!! What a brilliant world Capetta has crafted and in just the first few pages I was absolutely engrossed. Her writing style is lyrical and draws you along like a dream and her metaphors are music and I could wax on about how impressed this First Look made me.
I could not pass up the chance to read more of this story. I /need/ to know what will happen between our main character, Teodora, and her family's strife, and the mysterious genderfluid strega love interest. This story is firing on all cylinders! Every character is just beautifully evoked by Capetta's writing. And the messages that this book is going to impart? I'm sure they'll stay with me for a long time.
