The first thing to draw me to the book was the tag line: Her secret power is about to change everything. Now that's a statement that will draw me in! I enjoy books with a strong female protagonist and Teodora di Sangro starts off her story with a bang. Or perhaps more appropriately with a glass of milk then a music box.
Teo isn't the only interesting character though. Her brother Luca seems wise beyond his years and her step-mother (of the not-wicked variety!) has depths we didn't get to see in the few opening chapters.
I can't wait to get my hands on this book when it comes out. It'll be at the top of my to-purchase list for sure!
