I was intrigued from the beginning, immediately pulled into this new world of magic. Teodora is a young girl who is still learning how to use the magic that lives within her. As the story unfolds, her powerful father is the victim of an attempted assassination and Teo finds herself compelled to assist her young brother in taking a leadership role in the family. I am very interested to see how Teo molds her magical skills and what influence a certain magical stranger will have in her life.
