I absolutely loved the first seventy pages of the book that i got to read and enjoyed it thoroughly. Its a gender-bending queer fantasy full of magic, political intrigue, and complicated Italian family dynamics. This is mostly a classic quest/court-intrigue type fantasy, but the beautiful writing and unique details kept me interested all along. Can't wait to read the complete book.
