This book is remarkably outstanding

This book is remarkably outstanding, it´s especially difficult for me to even begin reading another book. The story takes place in Kentucky in the ’30s. Cussy Mary Carter is a girl who loves books. She and her father live in a humble town in Kentucky. Her dad, Elijah, is a miner that simply wants the best for his daughter. He encourages her to marry if she desires to have a good future. Cussy has other plans for herself though, she is a librarian and she wants to advance this career. She goes around town exchanging books with other library users. She also believes that learning is just as important as eating. She will cleverly have to find a way to do what she wants, but it will not be easy. She will encounter several social problems that many women also sadly experienced at this time period. Although she keeps her head high and continues on. I highly recommend this book.
