I was intrigued with this book not only from the title but the first chapter really grabbed my attention and left me wanting more. I felt like the characters and the storyline will keep me interested through the whole book. I love to read historical fiction to get a sense of how things were in a time period that I wasn’t apart of. I really felt bad for the girl and what she had to face in the first few chapters. It is a book that had me wanting more and one I hope to get soon so I can read on in this story. I felt like it will be a story of triumph for the main character but an interesting story to read to get her to that point. I can tell just from the first few chapters of how she is a strong person.
