The first thirty pages were decent, but I'm not sure the entire novel would hold my interest. While the fact that there were actually blue-skinned people in post-Depression Kentucky is fascinating, it's not enough to build an entire book on. I'm on the fence about this one - and while a blue cover model may be too much, it did strike me that the woman on the cover was clearly not the main character.
