I’ve heard all my life about the genetic mutation creating blue-skinned folks in KY, so I was immediately fascinated!
More than that fascination, though, I love books and work in the bookstore our library built when it remodeled as a Friend of the Library. We keep books shelved that are donated or withdrawn from the collection and hold a sale one Saturday a month. For 30 years we’ve made money to assist the library with its extra needs and programs.
I’m a retired high school English teacher, so I’ve always loved books and have a library in my home. I view my job as a retiree as getting the correct books into the correct hands—and this sounds like a book that needs to be in my hands soon!!
