The novel has an interesting premise and I never knew about the phenomenon of blue people. However, I am not sure what the book would be about as it's vague about the "whiff of trouble" that the hill people are accusing Cussy of. On the side note, I am surprised that the book cover doesn't depict anyone with a blue skintone
