I know little about the Blue people, so the concept immediately grabbed my attention. I love that the story features a strong female character, going against the norm of her day.
The pace feels a little slow, at least in this opening sample. Setting and atmosphere play a large roll here, and so it'll take some time to settle in. This sample didn't immediately captivate me. I wouldn't rush out to buy it, but I'm interested enough to read it.
