Fascinating Historical Fiction

What an endearing look at a little known facet of American history. Personally, I had never heard of the Blue People of Kentucky or the Pack Horse Library Project, but after reading this First Impression, I'm quite interested in learning more. This novel gives a look into a young woman living in rural Appalachia during the bleakest years of the Depression and her tough journey to spread the love of books and reading as far as possible.
