Fascinating Historical Fiction

What a fascinating work of historical fiction. I was not at all familiar with the "Blues" of Kentucky, so I was sucked right in to this story from the start. Not to mention the fact that I am a librarian, so I am completely intrigued by the history of the traveling librarians of that era. Cussy is sure to be a character that readers will fall in love with, whether her Pa agrees with her choices or not. Hard to believe that $28 a week was even a considerable wage at one time! I loved this first look and can't wait to read more!
