Can I move to Dove Pond? We follow Sarah, who can hear books, -which I just thought sounded lovely. I really enjoyed Sarah's backstory as well as Grace's and what brought them each to Dove Pond and what they each had to do to help safe their community. It is a book that delves into friendship, family and reading. The characters were so fun and full of life that they felt like real people you would encounter in a small, southern town. We pretty much all know a Mama G!
This story is a perfect summer read when you want something that hits on all the human aspects of a story, but is infused with just enough magic that it makes it mystical! If the author goes back to Dove Pond again, I will certainly go along and visit it again!
