I really loved the writing style of The Book Charmer. The chapters switch between point of view from some of the main characters. It was a little slow at first but picked up in the middle. I wish there was more magic in the book but Sarah, Trav, and the rest of the town were so charming. It was like the setting of Mayberry but what it would be like now where most people have left the dying town. Grace steps in with her experience and comes up with a plan to save the town. I think the book should have been more about the Dove family. I hope the author turns the book into a series. It would be great to have a book from the point of view of Mama G, Sarah's sisters, or even Linda the home health nurse.
