The Book Charmer had me enchanted from the very beginning when I “met” Sarah! She is not only a genuinely likeable protagonist, the prose used to describe her love of books is second to none. Every reader can relate to the amazement one feels when surrounded by books in a well-stocked bookstore or library (public or private), and the thrill that goes along with the reader who believes he/she has found his/her perfect new read!
