Oh my goodness, I was not expecting to get so invested and care about the characters in the book so quickly! Beautifully descriptive writing makes the story unfold wonderfully, love the fullness of the people and town so far. Definitely intrigued by talking books and what seems like an almost magical place. Feel so bad for poor Grace, really want to find out how another new start goes for her and her little family. Would love to know more about the Dove sisters too, definitely want to read this!
