Reminds me a bit of the children’s story country mouse city mouse. I would love to read it given I myself am a city to country transplant. Reading is a great escape when faced with a change in circumstances or environment. The characters use of books for connections to each other and the town is an interesting concept. Books are the quintessential ice breaker.
