What an appealing premise. I've often voiced that a book "spoke to me," but I meant in an emotional or impacting way. I was quickly drawn in to the story as Sarah considered earlier family members with her gift and yet didn't fall into immediate action as directed by the book. I found I think that The Book Charmer would be a great book to read along/aloud with younger readers as well. I enjoy a book that moves between characters and places and time periods, so would really look forward to knowing the full story to end.
