Promising characters and a good introduction to Dove Pond and it's old and new inhabitants. I am intrigued to see where the author will take the story of the seventh daughter and how Sarah and Grace's lives will overlap and mingle with each other. Very curious to see how the story develops - Will we learn more about the books talking? Will we learn more about the Red Frost? The first few chapters make me want to know more.
