I thoroughly enjoyed the time spent in Dove Pond, and getting to know it’s history. Dove Pond seemed to be a magical place, and the more Sarah learned about her home town, the more she loved it. I would love to meet Sarah! Sarah is a reader and a lover of books. The words in books speak to Sarah and she befriends the characters in them.
I enjoyed getting to meet two little, unwanted sisters, who had been abandoned and then bounced around the foster care system. It would take someone very special to help them heal and welcome them home.
I am already attached to the characters and look forward to reading the rest of this book.
