A book about books is always a must-read for me. So this book had me at the title, and the gorgeous and mysterious cover! Reading the First Impression, I felt myself pulled into the story in ways I didn't expect. Magical realism and speculative themes in books are things I've always found daunting, but the ones in this book are already fascinating! Maybe this book is charming me, as it were, into expanding my comfort zone and exploring a new genre! I hope I get the chance to read this book!
