The writing in this book was beautiful and amazing. It was super descriptive and lyrical, and I just felt like I was there. This book felt like such an adventure! Definitely my favorite part of the whole book. I also LOVED the two main characters. They were determined, smart, and both definitely flawed, but that just made them more realistic to me. I really loved how they just kept going no matter what.
Things got maybe a bit toooo weird for me near the end, which is why I took off a star. I really had to suspend my disbelief, and it became difficult to keep track of what was happening. Still an absolutely beautiful book inside and out, and I'm now really interested in reading her other stuff!
