Even though I have waited a very long time for the new G. Willow Wilson book, I read this "First Look" with trepidation. What if it wasn't as good as Alif The Unseen? What if I wasn't immediately catapulted into the world the author created? What if, gasp, I couldn't "see" what I was reading?
As I fell into the world of Fatima and Hassan and started "seeing" everything, I breathed an unconscious sigh of relief!
I liked how seemingly normal Hassan's gift appears and the building relationship between the two. There is a lot going on plot wise in the "sneak peak" to keep me guessing and wondering where it will go while I want for the book to come out.
