I was immediately immersed in Fatima's world. The descriptions of the palace was perfect - I could easily envision the world of a slave surrounded by entitled people now held virtually hostage within the palace wall. The cartographer's magical gift was a much-needed release from the too-close air of the imprisoned inhabitants. Simply captivating!
