After reading some of G. Willow Wilson's past works, it's pretty much a given that I'll be interested in reading anything else she releases. However, with a cover that gorgeous, and a concept that unique, I was even more eager to read this novel. The sample provided, while short, has given me hope that the rest of this novel will be simply amazing, and I'm so excited to see where Fatima and Hassan go from here. I really look forward to reading the rest of The Bird King!
