I really enjoyed this book so far.
The author's style is very enjoyable to read. She uses detailed imagery and descriptions to paint a picture of the world of the Belles.
Other than the main character herself, the other characters really haven't been introduced, but the main one is already fairly developed and I like her personality.
As for the actual plot, as far as I can gather, the Belles change people into more beautiful and talented versions of themselves. These women have been trained since they were young to harness their power. This idea is intriguing and I'm curious to learn more about the society in the book. I also enjoy how there are little mini flashbacks to the mc's past/mother, which makes me even more curious to learn about her life.
I'm excited to keep reading!
