The Belles was absolutely wonderful! The descriptions were breaktaking and I loved the story. I was gripped from page one, which rarely happens, and knew immediately that this was my kind of book.The setting was beautifully described and I felt like I could easily place myself there, riding in the carriage alongside Camellia. Also, can we talk about the gorgeous cover? I am so excited about the beautiful POC woman on the cover! She looks so fierce and strong, and is definitely someone I'd want to know in real life. It's so important for readers of all races to be able to see themselves represented on book covers, which is why I think this cover is SO significant and impactful. Props to Disney-Hyperion for their cover choice!
