I had no idea what this book was about going in, but I finished it within two hours, and I absolutely loved it!
The world building was very well done and everything seemed to work together with the plot and the Belle’s jobs.
One thing I adored in this book were the relationships Camille had with her sisters, they all seemed to get along so well and I loved the little balloon messages they sent to each other.
I really started to like August, and I felt like he and Camille were a good match, but after I found out about him with Sophie, I immediately hated him. It felt like such a plot twist, because I had no idea he would do such a thing!
The Queen was a really awesome character in this book and it was nice to see a Queen portrayed as not a weak old lady.
Overall, I loved this book and I’m so excited for The Everlasting Rose!
