The author uses very descriptive terms to paint a very vivid picture. The two chapters presented seem to have enough to keep an interest in the story, however it's more of the same. I'm sure being a Belle isn't all it's cracked up to be and I'm sure out main character will find the ugliness leading to some sort of revolt which will be dragged out over three books. Although the writing is a step above most YA, it didn't catch me as a must read.
