The Belles has a unique storyline that is very interesting to me. The sample definitely grabbed my attention! I was a little upset when I reached the end of the sample and wasn’t able to read about what happened next. I am also interested in learning more about the world in this book. I’m really intrigued by the emphasis placed on beauty and the media’s role in determining what’s attractive in the book’s world and the parallels/similarities with our own world.
