I've been hearing so much hype surrounding this novel, and I thought that premise sounded interesting, but not interesting enough for me to buy myself a copy because it didn't seem like something I'd typically read.
Until I read this First Look.
I didn't read all sixteen pages of the First Look, because I was already sold by the time I finished that first chapter. The author seems to do such an amazing job building her world from the first word because right away I was able to picture everything so clearly in my mind, and when an author can do that, then I know that their book is worth reading.
Now I'm looking forward to getting my hands on a physical copy so I can devour the rest.
