Right off the bat I can tell the author’s writing style is lush and descriptive with world building. Want to know more about Camellia and definitely want to find out who will be chosen to serve the queen as goddess of beauty. I need tonknkw if her risk taking behavior will pay off. Intrigued to read more. Seems ideal for fans of Amy Ewing’s The Jewel series.
