I've been hearing a lot of good press about this book for a while now. Honestly, the first couple chapters weren't really what I was expecting. There is a lot of world building to do in a novel like this. What was done in 16 pages definitely wasn't bad, but 16 pages just isn't much to work with. The basics are covered and they are certainly interesting. The buzz about this book would keep me reading. Also, cool cover art.
