I'm excited to read this book because I love YA that deals with royalty and competitions. The cover lets me know that this book has a black protagonist, which I am excited about as well, and I love that it's set in a AU New Orleans, which is one of my favorite cities. I'm looking for interesting world-building, romance, and intrigue with this book!
