From the first two chapters, I feel like I'm hearing the impressions of someone who lived in District 2 or 3 moving into District 1 in The Hunger Games. Everything is described in such detail that it borders on insanely intricate. It's too much and I have to wonder if that's a mark of the writing or if it will be foreshadowing of a poison that infiltrates this ornate world.
The cover is beautiful and certainly reflects Camellia well. We need more young women that look like her on the front covers of books.
