Everything about this has felt beautiful, which I know is ironic. From the chapter headers (gorgeous!), to the writing, and to the world itself, this book simply sparkled. The first person narration really suits to book for me because it helps make the reader feel the frantic confusion and panic that the main character, Camellia Beauregard, is experiencing with her desperation to be the best Belle she can be. Overall I have loved this idea and writing style, and I'm super excited to get to continue this book to delve more into its theme of questioning beauty and its modern standards.
